In 2015, several workshops are organized, as well as, group coaching and company counselling.

Who is this workshop designed for?

For all those with questions like

  • What is the purpose of a company?
  • How to best design a company that ensures the passion of the initiator remains and that each member of the organization knows why they are there.
  • How can a company be organized through a hierarchy of purpose and not hierarchy of power?
  • What is my personal purpose within a company?
  • How do I motivate my team, how do I encourage innovation.
  • How to attract sub-initiators to your project?
  • Can companies actually merge? Is there such a thing as co-founders?
  • How can you successfully replace a CEO, a team head, a project leader or other members?
  • What is the difference between an Initiator and a leader?
  • How do you manage succession planning?

For all those who are

  • Founders of a company, an organization, project, community group or team. Public and Private.
  • Start-up initiators, investors & consultants, and entrepreneurs.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions leaders and consultants.

The Initiator Work

Objectives
The objective of the workshop is for participants to explore an innovative and new management theory and practice that identifies and recognizes the passion, energy and ideas of the Initiator of an organization, project, team, community group or business.

You will explore

  • The characteristics that clearly enable everyone to identify who is the present Initiator of an entity (enterprise, organization or project)
  • The activities, responsibilities and privileges, which belong or do not belong to this role.
  • The relationship dynamics between Initiators and their next-in-line. Applying this understanding throughout the organization.
  • How to change the dynamics without necessarily altering the organizational structure?
  • How to remain in touch with one’s own ‘Initiator energy’ while everything else is going on.
  • Which decisions are best made by the Initiator and which are not.
  • The art of collaboration between Initiator-persons.
  • The distinction between ‘Initiator’ and ‘Leadership’ roles.
  • The factors related to Initiator-persons that are crucial for succession processes.

How we explore
We work with the practices of dialogue and enquiry, as we respond to a series of provocative inputs. The group is invited to explore and share their reactions, and their personal experience of being involved in founding projects, organizations and community groups.

All the conversations and dialogues are confidential and conducted with the necessary care and integrity.

Description
This method is part of the Peter Koenig System, a result of 14 years of research into the role of the Initiator and the dynamics of the founding energy. Through a series of exploratory conversations we share real life experiences to help projects, groups and organizations thrive and resolve relational and operational difficulties in a sustainable way.

Outcome
By understanding and following the principles that underpin the role of the Initiator it’s possible to unravel the origins of unproductive dynamics, then identify leverage points for making quick and simple corrections that restore healthy flow and high energy to teams, enterprises and organizations.
